On the 11th of December, 2021 the first project by Lead Me Back Foundation, “Guardian for a Year” was officially launched virtually. The project objective is to help vulnerable children in Zambia have access to quality education through the provision of school essentials such as school backpacks, school uniforms, school shoes and stationary. As we like to say at LMB ‘Quality Education is not just about filling up classrooms; it is about pouring into minds and that starts with taking care of the seemingly minor details’. Details like what shoes will a child put on their feet as they go to and from school. Here in Zambia where we have a uniform policy, a simple school shirt may determine whether a child’s day is spent learning or wasted.
