We officially had our first Bag-Pack donations in Ndola on the 8th March, 2022. The donation was under the project Guardian for a Year under Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4. During the donation 40 Bag-Packs were donated to 40 children from four schools in Ndola: Natwange Community School, Harosophia Community School, Young Peacemaker Community School and Mwaiseni Community School. A Bag-Pack within our organisation refers to a school backpack, school uniforms, school shoes and school stationeries needed by the children. During the donations the recipients had this to say:
“We would like to say a very big thank you to all Lead Me Back Guardians for the support, you’re really helping us. It is by the grace of God that you have come to lessen the burden on our parents’ shoulders. Some of us are coming from broken homes, very poor homes where life is so hard and some of us are orphans kept by our grandparents who have no source of income. Continue extending your hands to us vulnerable children, we shall continue praying for you. Thank you and God bless you!”
