Guardian for a year Kasama

Kasama holds most of the rural communities in Zambia’s Northern Province. Children there rarely have access to uniforms, shoes, books, backpacks, and other school essentials. As a result, most children lose confidence as they try to pursue their education.

Through the District Education Board Secretary’s office and the Mayor of Kasama we have partnered with community and public schools to help vulnerable children living in Kasama have access to quality education by providing them with the much-needed school essentials they cannot afford.

Providing children with these simple yet essential supplies is empowering them to learn, grow, and thrive. Books fuel their imagination, broaden their knowledge, and inspire dreams. Bags give them a sense of ownership and a secure place to carry their educational materials. We are not just providing them with physical items, we are investing in their future, giving them the opportunity to break free from the cycle of poverty and make a positive impact in Kasama.

There are many vulnerable children we have interviewed that still need our help. We may not be able to change everything, but we have started with the basics, and the basics make a world of difference. Would you be able to join us on this noble cause by becoming a Lead Me Back Guardian to help these future engineers, artists, teachers and athletes (the list goes on) have a solid foundation?
